Bang Tao Beach is a six-kilometre arc of white sand on Phuket’s north-west coast, forming the western boundary of the Laguna Phuket estate and widely recognised as one of the finest beaches on the island. Unlike the better-known but heavily commercialised stretches of Patong, Kata, and Karon, Bang Tao retains a sense of scale, space, and natural beauty that is increasingly rare on a coast that has seen rapid development over the past two decades. What distinguishes Bang Tao most sharply from other Phuket beach destinations is the integration of the Laguna estate along its southern and central sections.
